Cisco Catalyst WS-C3850-24P-S is next generation stackable enterprise level switch and integrated with 24 Ethernet POE + ports with upgradeable IP base IOS image. It is designed for access layer with 255 VLANs and IEEE802.3at POE+ standard supporting.

·The status LEDs include STAT (status), DUPLX (duplex), SPEED, STACK, SYST (system), ACTV (active) PoE and S-PWR (Stack Power).
·The switch supports one hot-swappable network module that provides uplink ports to connect to other devices. The switch should only be operated with either a network module or a blank module installed.

For the stacking purpose, LAN base switches can only stack with other Catalyst 3850 Series LAN base, mix stack with IP base or IP service feature set is not supported.
